MAD Incubator is Southeast Asia’s largest business incubation company. Formed in 2009, MAD’s vision is to create economic empowerment in communities through entrepreneurship—in essence, providing entrepreneurs with the right tools, skills, knowledge, market access, and funding to help them Make A Difference.
To date, MAD has worked with more than 300 business ventures and plans to nurture over 50,000 entrepreneurs by the year 2020. MAD FACILITIES IN CYBERJAYA
MSC MALAYSIA TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALISATION CENTRE
The MSC Malaysia Technology Commercialisation Centre (MTCC)—better known as the MSC Central Incubator—is the largest incubation facility in Cyberjaya. Located within the grounds of the Multimedia University, it is a certified MSC Cyber City, allowing MSC-status companies to set up their MSC offices here.
The incubator provides shared Wi-Fi, a cafe, utilities and air-conditioning. Room rates range from MYR 2.50 per sq ft (not including electricity) to MYR 6.00 per sq ft (utilities included).
Startup@Cyberjaya is an incubator catered to new startups with a 1-3 man shop, ideally in the ideation, market validation and product development stage. Startup Hub offers mentorship, coaching, training and development, business matching, market access, and funding access. It is designed as a co-working space to foster community, collaboration and commerce. Startup Hub@Cyberjaya’s co-working space is free to use by startups who subscribe to MAD Incubator’s Startup Incubation Programme.
GCM Incubator is a vertical niche incubator catering to technopreneurs who are in the Games, Creative and Mobile sectors. GCM Incubator includes a Finishing School for talent development, and a Southeast Asian market access programme.
A joint venture between MAD Incubator and Silicon Valley-based BootstrapLabs, BootstrapAccelerator takes in potential high growth technology companies in the Internet, SAAS and Mobile sectors that have the ability scale across Southeast Asia or have global potential. Its startups are highly focused on their 12-month execution programme that will see them becoming Southeast Asian companies within 12 months.
